Who we are
MigrantIQ publishes free migration guides and planning tools. Contact for privacy requests: Support@MigrantIQ.com or our contact page.
What we collect
- Account & planning data: email, saved migration plan JSON, checklist progress, and similar tool state you choose to sync.
- Forms & leads: name, email, message, and topic when you submit contact, Q&A, newsletter, or expert inquiry forms.
- Technical logs: IP address, user agent, timestamps, and error logs needed for security and reliability.
- Analytics & interactions: page views and product events (for example tool usage) to improve content quality.
- Cookies & similar tech: session, preference, consent, and advertising cookies as described below.
How we use information
- Provide and sync planning tools, checklists, and account features you request.
- Send newsletters or reminders only when you opt in.
- Respond to support, corrections, and partnership messages.
- Measure site performance, detect abuse, and improve editorial quality.
- Show advertising (including Google AdSense) and measure ad inventory where you have consented where required.
Cookies and similar technologies
We use essential cookies for security and preferences, and — after consent where required by law — analytics and advertising cookies. You can manage non-essential preferences via the cookie controls on the site (see “Manage cookie preferences” in the footer).

Advertising (Google AdSense and partners)
MigrantIQ may display Google AdSense ads and occasional affiliate or sponsored placements. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on prior visits to this and other sites. Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visits.
- Users may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings.

- We do not sell your planning-account contents to advertisers.
Funding transparency: How we make money.
Sharing
We share data only with:
- Infrastructure and email providers needed to run the site (hosting, transactional email).
- Advertising and analytics partners (e.g. Google) when scripts are enabled under your consent settings.
- Law enforcement or regulators when required by law.
We do not sell personal planning data as a standalone product.
Retention
- Planning accounts and saved plans: retained until you delete the account or request deletion.
- Newsletter subscriptions: until you unsubscribe.
- Operational logs: typically retained for a limited period for security and debugging (commonly up to 90 days unless a longer period is required for an investigation).
- Lead form submissions: retained as needed to respond, then deleted or anonymized on request.
Your rights and choices
- Export, clear, or delete planning data from the Account Dashboard.
- Unsubscribe from marketing emails via the link in any message.
- Request access, correction, or deletion by emailing Support@MigrantIQ.com.
- Manage cookie preferences via the footer control where available.
If you are in the EEA/UK, you may also have rights under GDPR/UK GDPR (access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection). We will respond to verified requests within applicable legal timelines.
Children
MigrantIQ is not directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided data, contact Support@MigrantIQ.com so we can delete it.
International transfers
Our hosting and vendors may process data in the United States or other countries. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards offered by those providers.
Changes
We may update this policy as the product evolves. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date on this page.
