Employer relocation checklist
Use with a candidate's MigrantIQ share link for planning context. This is operational HR guidance, not legal advice.
- Confirm whether the role requires employer sponsorship or a self-sponsored visa route.
- Agree on target start date and any probation conditions before relocation planning.
- Ask the employee to generate a read-only MigrantIQ plan share link (My Plan → Share plan).
- Review proof-of-funds expectations and who covers relocation costs (flights, shipping, temp housing).
- Clarify credential recognition or licensing if the role is regulated.
- Share destination banking, tax, and payroll onboarding steps with the employee.
- Point the employee to official government immigration portals — not third-party “guaranteed approval” services.
- Plan first-30-day tasks: local ID, healthcare registration, housing, and emergency contacts.
