Corridors & cost calculator
Origin-to-destination guides and how to estimate relocation costs.
Who it is for: Movers who know both “from” and “to” countries.
Benefits
- Side-by-side corridor narratives for popular routes.
- Shareable calculator URLs you can revisit or send to family.
- Community pages for some corridors (where published).
Step by step
1. Find your corridor
Corridors use the format /move/origin-to-destination/. Browse the Move hub or search for your pair (e.g. India to United States).
All corridors2. Read the corridor guide
Corridor pages open with a Quick Answer, then a corridor intelligence hub: goal-based visa ranking (work, study, family, PR), risk panel (scams, laws, common mistakes), unified feed (blog, Q&A, stories, experts), counts, and planning tools. A grounded advisor can answer questions citing MigrantIQ pages. When data thresholds are met, a dedicated /move/{origin}-to-{dest}/visas/ subpage lists all pathways. Below that you will find embassy links, cultural notes, and country profiles.
3. Open the corridor visas subpage (when available)
If your corridor has enough published visas and editorial links, the hub links to /move/origin-to-destination/visas/ with goal-based rankings and a full visa list.
Example (if published)4. Open the community hub (optional)
Some corridors also have a community resources page that groups articles, tools, and expert counts for the same origin → destination pair.
Example: community hub5. Open the cost calculator
From the corridor or Tools hub, launch the calculator with your pair pre-selected. Adjust assumptions (family size, city, timeline).
Cost calculator7. Compare two destinations
Unsure between two countries? Use Compare Countries for a structured side-by-side view. Save the comparison to My Plan from the results page.
