BC PNP Invites 714 Workers on 24 Sep 2026

On 24 September 2026 British Columbia invited 714 Skills Immigration candidates under Innovate: High Economic Impact. WelcomeBC lists 426 high-wage invites and 288 invites at score 131.

On 24 September 2026 the British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program invited 714 Skills Immigration candidates under Innovate: High Economic Impact. WelcomeBC lists two selection lines for the same date. One line issued 426 invitations to candidates holding a job offer in NOC TEER 0, 1, 2, or 3 paying at least CAD 52 per hour and CAD 105,000 per year. The other line issued 288 invitations to registrations scoring at least 131 points.

WelcomeBC last updated the invitations page on 24 September 2026. British Columbia publishes every Skills Immigration invitation round on the WelcomeBC invitations page. Treat WelcomeBC numbers as the source of truth for cut-offs and invitation counts.

An invitation is not a nomination. An invitation opens a filing window for a full BC PNP Online application. A later provincial nomination then supports a permanent residence filing with Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada. A provincial nomination adds 600 Comprehensive Ranking System points for Express Entry candidates.

What Innovate: High Economic Impact selects

British Columbia runs Skills Immigration under a Care, Build, Innovate frame. Care and Build rounds target named health, childcare, education, veterinary, and construction occupations. Innovate rounds select for economic impact through wage floors and registration scores rather than a named priority occupation list.

The 24 September 2026 Innovate round used two tests. The wage-based test ignored registration score and required both the hourly floor and the annual floor on a TEER 0 to 3 job offer. The points-based test ignored the wage floor and required a minimum registration score of 131.

Compare earlier 2026 Innovate rounds on WelcomeBC. On 20 August 2026 the wage floor stood at CAD 55 per hour and CAD 110,000 per year, with 337 wage-based invitations and 265 points-based invitations at a minimum score of 132. On 16 July 2026 the wage floor stood at CAD 58 per hour and CAD 115,000 per year. The 24 September 2026 round used the lowest Innovate wage floor published so far in 2026 and issued the largest Innovate invitation total of the year among the rounds listed on WelcomeBC for Innovate: High Economic Impact.

Who sits in the Skills Immigration pool

Foreign nationals register an expression of interest before selection. WelcomeBC assigns a score from registration data and places profiles in Skills Immigration pools. As of 1 September 2026 the Skills Immigration registration pool held 8,013 profiles. Only 223 of those profiles scored 130 points or higher.

WelcomeBC states invitations go to qualified registrations received before the date of the draw. A registration filed on the morning of a draw sits outside the round. Keep your registration active and accurate if you plan to wait for a later Innovate selection.

What invited candidates must do next

  • Log into your BC PNP Online User Profile and open the invitation notice
  • Confirm Skills Immigration eligibility and document lists for your stream
  • Submit a complete BC PNP Online application inside the window named in your invitation
  • Keep job offer wages, hours, and NOC codes consistent with your registration
  • After nomination, file permanent residence with IRCC under the provincial nominee path on your certificate

Check both wage figures on your employment letter. A high hourly rate on part-time hours fails the CAD 105,000 annual floor. Confirm TEER level under NOC 2021. Confirm your registration remains valid and accurate before the next Innovate round if you missed 24 September 2026.

Applicants already living in Canada should also review bridging open work permit options after a provincial nomination. Federal measures in force during 2026 allow some base Provincial Nominee Program nominees to file for a bridging open work permit without waiting first for an Acknowledgement of Receipt on the permanent residence file. Confirm current IRCC guidance before you rely on timing claims from secondary sites.

Context around late September 2026

British Columbia also ran Care and Build rounds earlier in September 2026. On 10 September 2026 Care: Childcare invited 182 early childhood educators at a minimum score of 99. Care: Health invited 143 candidates at a minimum score of 76. Build: Construction Trades invited 104 candidates at a minimum score of 94. On 17 September 2026 the Temporary Rural/Remote Health Support Initiative invited 33 candidates at a minimum score of 60.

On 22 September 2026 Entrepreneur Immigration invited 10 Base registrants and fewer than five Regional registrants at a minimum score of 119. Those entrepreneur numbers sit apart from the Skills Immigration Innovate round.

As of 28 September 2026, treat the official WelcomeBC draw rows as authoritative: Innovate: High Economic Impact on 24 September 2026, 426 invitations at CAD 52 per hour and CAD 105,000 per year for TEER 0 to 3 offers, plus 288 invitations at a minimum score of 131. Update your Skills Immigration registration when wages, language results, or work months change, then watch WelcomeBC for the next Innovate invite.
